We had Uverse starting 6 years agp and at first the service was good. But over time as the price went up and internet slowed we began to look for alternatives. They suggested we try Direct TV. Hindsight that was possibly the worst choice we could have made. Not only did the signal cut out whenever it rained but our internet actually got slower. You could call for help but really they couldn’t or wouldn’t do anything. Then came the final crown and glory. The price went through the roof. Everything that was promised by a third party vendor was true. The contract wasn’t honored. AT&T basically ignored all pur service issues, raised the price and offered better prices and a fiber optic connection to new customers on our street but wanted us to pay twice what new customers were and to extend our contract. I spent over 20 hours on servoce calls to no avail. I will never buy from AT&T again. Their is a reason why today their customer service ratings are criminally low. When we first signed with them the union install guys and service representatives were great at the end my calls were all routed to the Philippines. I feel bad for the good people who have so many years invested in making the company what it was only to see it become this.
